“Remember, pretty is as pretty does!” my mom would call as I walked out the door to middle school. She first started saying it to me when I was eleven, and continued it almost everytime I would leave the house after that. I hated it! But now that I’ve grown older, it applies to my life in [...] That’s it! I’m done! This is ridiculous! I’m getting up on my soapbox now!…. but where is it? Look around, do you ever see anyone getting up on a street corner or in the middle of a city square and start talking? [...] Ah yes, that joyous time of year when we rush to the stores and buy in bulk. Everything is on sale right? So why not buy two when you were only going to buy one. Oooh it’s half off, so I budgeted for the full amount that means I can give more! Can you imagine how much we would all save if we budgeted for the full value and set aside the extra money when things are on [...] If you want to say Happy Holidays and honor all, that’s your business, but don’t rain on my pagan [...] |
