People who have money tend to want more. And they want it to the point that they think they NEED more. They worship at the alter of money.
Whereas I meet people who actually need money and those people never really get too greedy about it. It seems that greed grows when around more greed.
I can’t help but think about CEOs of big companies. They guys in their suits and ties going out to super expensive bars for super expensive drinks, trapped in that lifestyle. They can’t help but spend big because they earn big. They don’t earn all that money only to buy packs of Ramen Noodles, so I’m not sure if greed is entirely the person or if it is its own entity.
I do notice that old guys who have a lot of money tend to get greedier than younger guys. Younger rich guys are just assholes, but rich old guys are panicking and decide they need ALL of the money. So maybe its age plus money divided by memories of poor life equals greedy fuckers. I hope I never get too rich.
