If there is any good thing to come out of this recession, it’s this. I tell my son when we can’t go to the movies or eat anything for dinner except baked beans that he damn well HAS to work hard in school and do better than his mama. Being willing to work hard just isn’t enough any more. [...] I have been out of a job for 6 months. And I think I’m doing everything right in looking for a new one. I had a professional help me with my resume. I look at every job board known to man – every day. I tailor my resume to fit the requirements of the job I’m applying for.
