The Pied Piper of America
There is much chatter these days concerning our President. Empty chatter full of criticism and hate and ignorance and things better Left Unsaid. Not that our President is without critique but that the nonconstructive talk is wasted and merely goes to showcase the mentality of the American People. Yet sometimes we have to talk about talking and today is one of those days…
Transparency , my ass
Do the voters think they now have transparency? If they do, it is a very peculiar version that defies any sense of physics. Transparency was a BIG election issue, wasn’t it? What happened?
A prehistoric political dispute
I’ve been really tied up in (and tired out by) politics recently. There’s a lot of it these days, and there’s good reason to pay close attention. I think that …Read the Rest

Being the single girl in the city, I often wonder about the significant and definitive lines that people draw in relationships despite the progression of time. While I do believe in the two quintessential archetypes of the modern relationship, which is the hunter gatherer-man and then the nurturer grower-woman, I also believe as long as the two types exist in a relationship it doesn’t matter who fills the roll. Relationships have changed so much in the last decade. We see significantly more interracial and gay relationships, and I venture to say that in the south we need to catch up to the times. We need to embrace change because let’s face it, the cookie cutter same race/man-woman relationships are quickly becoming a thing of the past.
